Axel von Schubert is a German national and long-time resident of The Bahamas. After his law
studies at McGill University in Montreal, Canada and Ludwig-Maximilian University in Munich,
Germany, he embarked on a successful 30+ year career as independent legal and tax advisor to
numerous celebrities, high net-worth clients and Family Offices around the world.
He spearheaded a successful management buy-out for MCM, the largest German fashion house in the
late 1990’s and
structured the refinancing of a US$ 1Billion commercial property and hotel project in
Kazakhstan. He secured funding and successfully organised the public listings of several
property and technology companies on the London, New York and Vienna Stock Exchanges. He speaks
five languages fluently, has authored several publications on Family Offices and offshore
finance and has served as Advisor to Ministry of Finance of the Government of St. Kitts & Nevis.

D. Sean Nottage is a seasoned lawyer and wealth management consultant who has worked primarily in
The Bahamas for most of his career following the start of his career in London and Boston.
Sean is a Bahamian citizen whose family descends from the original English settlers to The
Bahamas. Sean has been involved in the financial services arena in The Bahamas for over
twenty-five years.
A barrister-at-law in England and Wales and an attorney-at-law in the Commonwealth of
Massachusetts as well as the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, Sean has spent most of his career in
The Bahamas. Sean held a senior position with the law firm of Lennox Paton in The Bahamas, one
of the premier law firms in the offshore financial centres, where his legal practice focused on
corporate, banking and securities law, with a strong concentration on investment funds and
private client structures.
Sean has served as a Director and General Counsel to start-up asset management companies and
fund administrators and has served as a director to many international business entities.
Sean has also had the honour of representing The Bahamas as member of its 1984 Olympic Team in
swimming at the Games of the XXIII Olympiad held in Los Angeles, California.
